National Seminars

A desire to teach other teachers is an essential part of CTL’s mission. Since 1992, CTL has sponsored biannual one-day seminars for teachers in cities across the U.S. Proceeds from the meetings directly underwrite the operation of the school and enable tuition rates to remain at approximately 65% of school costs.

This year, CTL faculty will lead seminars in the following locations:

"Literacy Lessons"
a choice of three one-day workshops:

"Lessons That Change Writers, Grades 5-8" with Nancie Atwell or:

"Making Believe on Paper, Grades 1-3" with Ted DeMille or:

"Every Child a Reader: Lessons to Teach Beginning Reading, Grades K-1" with Helene Coffin
